As the title said, yes… it was my first River cruise in Europe or you could say it was my first time on a cruise (except dinner cruise in Bangkok)! I had to thank my husband for this!
ครั้งแรกกับการเดินทางบนเรือสำราญเริ่มต้นที่เมืองPassau นี่เป็นครั้งแรกในชีวิตที่มีโอกาสเดินทางบนเรือสำราญแถมยังเป็นในยุโรป เราเคยแต่ทานอาหารค่ำบนเรือที่แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาบ้านเรา ต้องขอขอบคุณ คุณสามีจริงๆ ><

We left our hotel in Munich before 10 am. Not too early because we had until 6 pm to board the cruise. As many of you know the train system in Europe is very good. I was very impressed with their cleanliness, punctuality, and variety of food at the train station too. It took only about 2 hours to get there and we didn’t have to wait in line to get a train ticket because we had Eurail passes.
เราเช็คเอาท์ออกจากโรงแรมที่มิวนิคก่อน 10 โมงเช้า ไม่ถึงกับเช้ามากเพราะคิดคำนวณดูแล้วเราสองคนต้องไปขึ้นเรือก่อน 6 โมงเย็น และก็รู้ๆกันอยู่ว่าการคมนาคมโดยรถไฟที่ยุโรปดีขนาดไหน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องของความสะอาด, การตรงต่อเวลา, อาหารมีให้เลือกซื้อมากมายที่สถานีรถไฟ อีกอย่างใช้เวลาเพียง 2 ชั่วโมงก็ถึงที่หมาย ประกอบกับมีตั๋ว Eurail passอยู่แล้ว ไม่ต้องไปต่อคิวซื้อตั๋วให้เสียเวลา

We passed many houses that have solar power on their roofs. I’m serious, those houses are in the middle of nowhere but everyone has solar power. Why can’t every country have the solar power system like in Germany??? We can make a lot of electricity from it!!!
ระหว่างการเดินทางก็นั่งมองดูวิวและสังเกตเห็นว่าบ้านแทบทุกหลังที่เยอรมัน มี solar powerติดบนหลังคาบ้านทั้งนั้น ไม่อยากจะเชื่อว่าแม้แต่เมืองเล็กๆก็ยังมีใช้กันทั้งนั้น น่าสงสัยว่าทำไมทุกประเทศไม่ลองใช้ solar power เหมือนเยอรมันบ้าง เราคงสามารถประหยัดไฟฟ้าได้มากโขอยู่นะเนี่ย
Anyway, when we arrived in Passau, we thought it was not too far to walk to the pier (after checking with Google maps). While we were walking, we saw a taxi. I was walking toward it to check the price (actually the only taxi we saw all day!!). Someone got in that taxi in front of us! Never mind, we are healthy and young enough to walk for hours. We thought it was a good way to explore Passau and we had time too. Why not, right?
วกกลับเข้าเรื่องกันต่อ ตอนที่รถไฟถึงเมือง Passau เราก็คิดว่าสามารถเดินไปถึงท่าเรือได้เพราะดูจากแผนที่ของพี่กูเกิ้ลมาแล้ว ระหว่างที่เดินไปได้ครึ่งชั่วโมงก็เห็นแท็กซี่(เป็นเพียงคันเดียวที่เห็นวัน นั้น ><) ก็คิดอยู่ว่าจะนั่งแท็กซี่ไปดีมั๊ย กำลังจะเดินไปถามคุณพี่คนขับ ปรากฎว่าคุณชายเธอมาจากไหนไม่รู้คะ เปิดประตูขึ้นไปนั่งเลย เอิ่ม สงสัยขาเราสั้นไปเลยเดินไปถึงช้ากว่าเค้า ชิ คิดซะว่าเรายังแข็งแรงและวัยละอ่อนพอที่จะเดินเป็นชั่วโมงได้ อีกอย่างเดินไปก็ดีเหมือนกัน เป็นการเดินชมเมือง Passau ไปในตัวแถมมีเวลาถึง 6 โมง จะไปกลัวอะไร อิอิ

Oh well, the first hour was fine but when we had to walk up hill…. not fine for me! I’m ok with walking but I hate walking up hill! It was getting hot too!
เดินไป 2 ชั่วโมงแรกก็สนุกอยู่ มีร้านค้ากับตึกสวยๆให้ชม แต่พอถึงตอนเดินขึ้นเนินนี่สิ ชักจะแย่เพราะเป็นคนที่เกลียดการเดินขึ้นเนินหรือขึ้นเขาเป็นที่ซู้ดดดดด ถ้าเดินทางราบละก็ไม่มีท้อคะ จะกี่ชั่วโมงก็ไหว อีกอย่างตกบ่ายอากาศเริ่มร้อนต้องถอดเสื้อกันหนาวที่ใส่อยู่ออก ม่ายง้านงานนี้มีเป็นลมล้มตึงกะเค้าละ
When we arrived at some point that we thought it is our pier, my husband was walking fast to check it…nope… he didn’t see the name of our pier or any big ship at all. Ok…hm… what to do. We asked teenagers around there and they said “that pier is in another town”…. silent…what? No!!!! My husband said “Calm down, we can ask other people around there again”. We saw 2 middle aged women. We thought they were locals, so my husband walked up and asked them. They said “it’s here but we have to walk for another 2 hours at least but it is walk able” We were so glad that we met them. They were very nice to us by kept explaining. Good news that the pier is here but bad news that we have to walk another 2 hours at least. Oh well, I adjusted the position of my backpack and a camera bag. We kept walking without talking and getting worry that we won’t make it.
เดินไปซักพักก็เห็นเหมือนเป็นท่าเรือ ดีใจได้ไม่ถึง 2 วิค่า คุณสามีเดินฉับๆไปดูชื่อท่าเรือ ไม่ใช่ท่าเรือที่เราหาแถมไม่เห็นมีเรือสำราญจอดกะเค้าเลย อืม เอาไงดี สุดท้ายตัดสินใจถามเด็กวัยรุ่นแถวๆนั้นดู หล่อนบอก อ๋อ ท่าเรือที่เราหานะ… มันอยู่อีกเมืองนึง เอ่อ… อะไรกัน…. ไม่นะ ไม่จริงใช่มั๊ย เหงื่อเริ่มออก เริ่มวิตกจริต สามีบอกใจเย็นๆ เดี๋ยวลองถามคนอื่นดู เหลือบไปเห็นหญิงวัยกลางคน 2 คนและดูเหมือนเป็นคนท้องถิ่น สามีไม่รอช้ารีบเดินไปถาม คุณป้าบอก อ๋อ ใช่ๆท่าเรือที่เราหาอยู่ที่นี่แหละ (เราเริ่มยิ้มออก) แต่ต้องเดินไปอีก 2 ชั่วโมงเป็นอย่างต่ำนะ (จากยิ้มร่าเป็นยิ้มเจื่อน)แต่มันเดินไปได้ เราสองคนก็เอ่ยปากขอบคุณคุณป้ากับเพื่อนเค้า ดีใจมั่กๆที่เจอคุณป้ากับเพื่อนเพราะแกน่ารักมากๆ อธิบายอย่างดิบดีหลายรอบเลย และแกก็บอกว่าชั้นไม่ใช่คนที่นี่หรอกแต่มาเที่ยวหลายรอบแล้ว กร๊าก 🙂 เฮ้อ ข่าวดีคือท่าเรืออยู่ที่นี่แต่ข่าวร้ายคือต้องเดินต่อไปอีกอย่างน้อย 2 ชั่วโมง ไหนๆก็ต้องเดินอีกไกล ยกเป้ขึ้นบ่า สะพายกระเป๋ากล้องให้เข้าที่และเริ่มเดินกันต่อแบบเงียบกริบเพราะต่างคนต่างวิตกว่าจะไปถึงทัน 6 โมงมั๊ย
We saw a guy riding a bike with his kid. We stopped and asked him to make sure that we went to the right way. He said “keep walking, when you walk pass the first curve, you will see the pier and a few cruises”. Yeah!! I was relieved even though we had to walk for at least 30 minutes. We were almost at the pier and I told my husband that “Honey, wipe all your sweat! Don’t show them how tired we are!”
ระหว่างทางที่เดินก็เห็นคุณพ่อขี่จักรยานมากับคุณลูกอยู่ลิบๆ นึกในใจต้องเป็นคนท้องถิ่นแน่ๆ ขี่จักรยานออกกำลังกายแบบนี้ เราไม่รอช้ายืนขวางทางเลยค่า กลัวเค้าขี่ผ่านไป heบอกว่าเราเดินมาถูกทางแล้วแต่ต้องเดินต่อไปเรื่อยๆจนผ่านโค้งหน้าและก็จะเห็นท่าเรือมีเรือใหญ่จอดอยู่ เย้ โล่งอกเป็นที่สุดถึงแม้ต้องเดินต่อไปอีกครึ่งชั่วโมงก็เถอะ ร่ำลาขอบคุณกันไป พอเดินใกล้จะถึงท่าเรือ เราก็บอกคุณสามีว่า เธอๆอย่าลืมเช็ดเหงื่อนะ. อย่าให้กัปตันเรือเห็นว่าเราเดินกันมาเหนื่อยขนาดไหน!!!

Oh well, when we arrived at the cruise, the captain and his crews looked at us and said “are you the last two guests that we are waiting for??” Both of us were smiling. My husband said”Oh sorry we’re later. We were walking all the way from the train station to here”!!! They were shocked and captain said “you should call us, so we can send someone to pick you up”.
ในที่สุดก็ถึงที่หมาย ตอนเดินไปที่เรือ กัปตันกับลูกเรือก็ยืนกันอยู่แถวๆกาบเรือแล้วหันมามองเราสองคนอย่างสงสัยและ เอ่ยปากถามว่า เราสองคนใช่แขกสองคนสุดท้ายที่ชั้นรออยู่รึเปล่า เราสองคนบอกใช่พร้อมกับรอยยิ้มปนเหนื่อย สามีบอก อ๋อโทษทีที่ช้า เราเดินมาจากสถานีรถไฟนะ โอ้ยยย คุณสามีขาจะไปบอกเค้าทำไมเนี่ย!!!! กัปตันบอกทำไมไม่โทรมาบอกเค้า เค้าจะได้ส่งคนไปรับ!!! คิดในใจว่าใครจะไปรู้ว่ามันจะไกลขนาดเน้!

It was almost 6 pm and they were preparing to leave the pier. The captain invited us to the private dinner, so we had time only 15 minutes to shower and dress up!
เกือบ 6 โมงเย็นแล้วลูกเรือเตรียมตัวนำเรือออกจากท่า กัปตันเชิญเราขึ้นเรือและช่วยหิ้วกระเป๋าพาไปเช็คอิน และก็เชิญทานอาหารค่ำส่วนตัวที่ห้องอาหารร่วมกับแขกท่านอื่นเพียงไม่กี่คน (สงสัยเห็นเราสองคนเหนื่อยมาก อิอิ) เราสองคนก็รีบอาบน้ำแต่งตัวให้ทันอาหารค่ำที่กำลังจะเริ่มในอีก 15 นาที Butlerเดินมาส่งที่ห้องSuite! อธิบายไปอีก 5 นาที! น่ารักจริง บริการดีแต่ช้านนรีบ!!!

ถึงจะเหนื่อยจากการเดินเป็นชั่วโมงและความร้อนแต่สุดท้ายแล้วก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งวันของการผจญภัยสำหรับตัวผู้เขียน 🙂
