นี่เป็นครั้งแรกตั้งแต่เดินทางต่างประเทศที่ต้องรอเปลี่ยนเครื่องที่สนามบินมากกว่า 6 ชั่วโมง ตอนที่จองตั๋วก็เห็นแล้วว่าต้องรอประมาณ 5 ชั่วโมง แต่ไม่กี่อาทิตย์หลังจากซื้อตั๋วแล้วได้อีเมล์แจ้งว่าเวลาเดินทางมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง หาตั้งนานว่าเปลี่ยนตรงไหน ปรากฎว่าจาก 5 ชั่วโมง ต้องรอมากกว่า 6 ชั่วโมง แถมถึงตั้งแต่ยังไม่ 6 โมงเช้า ถ้าจะเข้าเมืองไปก็คงไม่มีอะไรเปิดหรือเดินดูมากนัก

It was my first time to spend more than 6 hours waiting for my connecting flight. We were thinking to take a train to Seoul station but no point to spend 90 minutes round trip because we were arriving before 6 am.

ณ วันที่เดินทาง พอดีเจอเพื่อนซี้ปึ๊กมาส่งพี่สาวที่สุวรรณภูมิ สรุปเรากับสามีบิน flight เดียวกันกับพี่เพื่อนสำหรับขาจาก กรุงเทพไปเกาหลี

On the departure day, I met one of my best friends at the airport. She dropped off her sister and what a coincidence that we were on the same flight with her sister 🙂

 

ตอนที่ไปถึง Incheon airport เราสามคนก็เดินหาที่นั่งเพราะ สามีจะดูแข่ง American football เราเลยเดินไปนั่งที่ Gate ที่ไม่ไกลจาก Gate ที่เราต้องขึ้นเครื่องกัน ตอนแรกว่าจะนอนหลับงีบเอาแรงซะหน่อยแต่ไปๆมาๆหลับไม่ลง พี่สาวเพื่อนจะไปซื้อกาแฟเลยเดินไปเป็นเพื่อน ร้านค้าใน airport ก็ยังไม่เปิด เลยเดินดูไปเรื่อยๆว่ามีร้านอะไรบ้าง ขากลับเห็นป้ายเขียนว่า Rest & Relax เลยชวนพี่สาวเพื่อนไปดู

When we arrived at Incheon airport, we were looking to find a perfect spot to watch the Packers Game and then take a nap but It was getting busy at the gate where we sat. I went with my friend’s sister to find a coffee shop. On the way back, I saw the sign “Rest & Relax” so, I asked her to check it out with me.

 

เดินตามป้ายไปก็จะเจอลิฟท์ หรือจะเลือกใช้บันไดเลื่อนข้างๆก็ได้ ขึ้นไป 1 ชั้น ก็จะเจอแผนที่ เราก็ดูจากแผนที่ว่าเราอยู่ตรงไหน ณ ชั้นนั้นแล้วก็เดินไปตรงเบอร์ 5 ตามแผนที่ ที่ระบุว่า Rest Area

We followed the sign and took the escalator (you can take an elevator too) to the upper floor and found a map.

 

โซนแรกที่เจอคือ 2- Live stage จะมีเปียโนตั้งอยู่ ส่วนโซนทางขวาเป็นที่นั่งและมีป้ายเขียนว่า Information Passenger meeting point

The first zone is a Live music area. It has a piano and a few couches to sleep and on the right side is Information Passenger meeting point.

 

โซนถัดไปคือ 3- Massage & Nail care เวลาทำการ 7.00-20.30 น. ตอนที่ไปเค้ายังไม่เปิดบริการ ส่วนโซนที่อยู่ตรงข้ามคือ 8- Hub Lounge ยังไม่เปิดให้บริการ

After that it is a Massage and Nail care area. Opposite the massage room will be Hub Lounge which was not open to the public at that time.

 

จากนั้นถัดไปจะเห็นว่าทางซ้ายมือคือ ห้องอาบน้ำ เปิดระหว่าง 7.00-22.00 น. เค้าจะมีผ้าขนหนูผืนไม่ใหญ่มากให้ 1 ผืน, แชมพู, ครีมนวดผม, เจลอาบน้ำเป็นซองให้ ถ้าจำไม่ผิด ห้องอาบน้ำจะมีให้ทั้งหมดประมาณ 6-7 ห้อง ข้อดีคือ ภายในห้องอาบน้ำจะแบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วน คือส่วนแห้งที่เราสามารถเข็นกระเป๋าเดินทางเข้าไปได้ กับส่วนเปียก คือ ส่วนที่เราอาบน้ำ เจ้าหน้าที่ที่ประจำอยู่ก็น่ารักมาก ถึงจะพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้นิดเดียวแต่ก็พยายามอธิบายภาษามือควบคู่ไปด้วย ที่สำคัญสุดคือ ฟรีคะ ไม่มีการคิดเงิน อาบเสร็จก็นำผ้าเช็ดตัวที่ใช้แล้วมาใส่ในตะกร้าด้านนอก ใกล้ๆกับ counter ที่มีเจ้าหน้าที่ประจำอยู่ เดินเลี้ยวซ้ายออกมาจากห้องอาบน้ำจะมีห้องน้ำชาย-หญิง

After that you will see Shower rooms on the left. They are open from 7am -10pm. A staff person is standing at the counter. You sign in with the staff person and she provides you 1 medium size towel, a package of shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel. It is free and it has about 6-7 shower rooms. Each room has space to change and keep your luggage plus a separate shower stall.  After you done showering, you must bring your used towel and put it in the basket/bin near the counter. On the left side of shower room are the restrooms.

 

โซนถัดมาคือ 4- Children’s Play room (Kids Zone) อันนี้ดีสำหรับคนที่เดินทางกับเด็กเล็กๆ เด็กจะได้ไม่เบื่อ ถึงแม้จะไม่ใหญ่มากแต่ก็มีที่ให้เล่น เปิดบริการ 24 ชั่วโมง ส่วนโซนที่อยู่ตรงข้าม คือ 9- Traditional craft works gallery เปิด 7.00-22.00

The next zone on the left is a Children’s Play room. It’s not that big but it’s open 24 hours. Opposite this zone is a traditional craft works gallery. It opens from 7am-10pm.

 

โซน ถัดมาทางซ้ายมือคือ 5- Rest area เปิดบริการ 24 ชั่วโมง จะมีเก้าอี้ให้ทั้งแบบนอนยาวและแบบนั่ง จริงๆระหว่างทางที่เดินมาจากโซน Live Stage จนถึง Rest area ก็จะมีบางหลืบที่เค้าจัดเก้าอี้ยาวนอนประมาณ 3-4 ตัว พื้นที่ถึงไม่ใหญ่มาก แต่ดีมากๆสำหรับคนที่ต้องรอต่อเครื่องนานหลายชั่วโมงหรือผู้โดยสารที่มารอต่อเครื่องตอนดึกมากๆ ไม่ก็เช้ามืดเพราะร้านทุกร้านใน airport ปิดหมด

Here is the zone that I was looking for, the rest area. It is open 24 hours and it has two styles of  chair, one to lay down on. There’s room for about 30-40 people. Actually while I was walking from the live stage to the rest area, I saw at least 4-5 lounge chairs on my right , great for sleeping. This area is not that big but at least passengers who arrive very late or too early and don’t have the privilege to use any lounges at the airport can have a place to rest and lay down. It is much better than sitting on a small chair at the gate for 5-6 hours.

 

อีกโซนที่อยู่ตรงข้าม Rest area คือ 10- Internet zone เปิดบริการ 24 ชั่วโมง ใช้ computer ได้ฟรี แถมมีเก้าอี้นวดให้ใช้ฟรีประมาณ 4-5 ตัวอีกด้วย เดินเข้าไปอีกนิดคือโซน 11- News  & Movie เปิดบริการ 24 ชั่วโมง เป็นเก้าอี้นวมตัวใหญ่แบบเอนได้ประมาณ 10 ตัว แต่คนส่วนมากไม่ดูทีวีหรอก นอนหลับทุกคนเลย

Opposite the rest area is the internet zone. No problem if you don’t have a laptop, it’s free and open 24 hours. After a long flight, you can relax at the massage chairs for free too! Next to the internet zone is the news & movie area. It has about 10 huge comfortable couches that you can lay down on. I din’t see anyone watch news or movie, they were all sleeping 🙂

 

โซนสุดท้ายที่อยู่ติดกับ โซน Internet คือ 12-Information & Left Baggage service  เห็นป้ายเขียนว่ามี  ผ้าห่ม หนังสือ Tablet PC แต่ไม่ทราบรายละเอียดเพราะตอนที่ไปถึงเช้ามืดมาก ยังไม่มีเจ้าหน้าที่มาประจำเคาน์เตอร์ คิดว่าน่าจะฝากกระเป๋าเดินทาง ยืมผ้าห่ม Tablet หรือหนังสืออ่านได้ ที่สำคัญมีทีวีให้ดูรายละเอียดของ flight ว่าออกกี่โมง และGate ไหน

Finally, there’s an information & left baggage service. A sign reads free rental service; blanket, book, Tablet PC but it was not staffed this early in the morning. You can store your bags here. It’s nice that they provided 4 screens show departure information.

 

ขอชมเลยว่า Incheon airport มีบริการที่ครบวงจรดีมากจริงๆ เค้ามี CCTV ติดไว้แถวนั้นด้วย ใครที่คิดจะขโมยอย่างหวังจะรอดไปได้ ตอนนอนหลับตรงนั้นก็เอากระเป๋าที่ขึ้นเครื่องวางไว้ใกล้ตัว ส่วนเอกสารสำคัญ เช่น passport ก็ใส่กระเป๋าเล็กๆแนบไว้กับตัว ตื่นมาทุกอย่างก็ยังอยู่ครบนะ เดินไปล้างหน้า แปรงฟัน และก็เดินไปรอขึ้นเครื่องที่ Gate ข้อสำคัญคือถ้าเดินทางคนเดียวอย่าลืมปรับเวลาตามเวลาท้องถิ่นแล้วตั้งนาฬิกาปลุกตัวเองด้วยเผลอหลับยาวตกเครื่องแล้วจะยุ่งน้าาา

I really like Incheon airport. It has a very good system (free internet, free showers room, free rest area, many shops, and restaurants) and a good layout too. After you wake up, you can walk to the restroom to freshen up before the flight or even take a shower! I saw CCTV cameras in the rest area too. It’s a good security system because many people sleep with their luggage, handbags, and valuable things like passports, money etc. For me, Sleeping at Incheon airport is safe, easy, and good enough!
